Northern Waterthrush

Hi :)
This little bird was bouncing up and down over the water on these blades of grass. It was tiny, cute, and wouldn't let me get near it. I think it's a Northern Waterthrush.
It's not a great bird picture, but I thought it was pretty. :)

"I’m a little guy who you might find flitting in the trees during the spring and fall migrations. I’m a little like a Palm Warbler with a streaked tummy. I don’t stick around long!"

Raarrrrr.

Saw this guy a couple of mornings ago. And while I couldn't sleep I looked up how to escape an alligator/crocodile. The zig-zag thing is a myth because the large alligators only run up to 10 miles per hour so an average human can outrun one.
A couple I met out running the other morning said their friend came across one on the sidewalk where I run before dawn and mating season is about to arrive.
There are several tips but the main one was to stay away. :)
p.s. I never like to hear that someone has been responsible for killing one. So don't feed them
