Sun rising on the Courtney Campbell Causeway! It's been awhile since I've gone over twenty mph by my own power....so glad to be back on my road bike. Yay!
I liked that I could get the other rider in the sun at the top of the bridge. :)

The challenge today was to take something widely recognized and make it look "special". I don't know about being made to look special, but I got to take a break to play. :)

First Road Bike Ride In Eight Months!

So....I hadn't been on my road bike since a guy almost flattened me with his car. This morning I got up the nerve to go out. Yikes!....I was so nervous that my legs were shakin' before I got on.

And I made it!
What doesn't kill me makes me skinnier. Haha

When I first saw this ladybug, she squirted this tiny shot of liquid up into the air...needless to say, I wish I had my camera up for a picture. I think that was to scare me off from, what I read.
