This sweet boy who wants to be pet by everyone he sees and sniff every other puppy is at his new home today. This silly boy who makes old man noises when he lays down and trots along with me when I do has two very excited people to love him now. This big beautiful quiet boy stole our hearts and is now going to steal his permanent family's.

Knight did not work out with the family’s cats. :(
He'll be with us a little longer. I'm sad that it didn't work out for him and this particular family but I know he's going to make someone a wonderful family pet and the family will be fit with the right one. ♥️

Bittersweet day yesterday. As predicted, Knight was a big hit at the meet and greet. The family that has been approved couldn't be more wonderful. All we have to do is make sure he doesn't think their cat would be a tasty morsel. Their border collie even hugged him! I almost cried a couple of times. But it's been a wonderful experience and we'll definitely be fostering again very soon. I can't say enough good things about the Gold Coast Greyhound organization.

Today Knight goes to his first meet and greet. I’m in pre-depression that someone is going to fall in love with him and want to adopt him. ….sigh….. I know this is the purpose of fostering but it’s going to hurt.
