First Road Bike Ride In Eight Months!

So....I hadn't been on my road bike since a guy almost flattened me with his car. This morning I got up the nerve to go out. Yikes!....I was so nervous that my legs were shakin' before I got on.

And I made it!
What doesn't kill me makes me skinnier. Haha

When I first saw this ladybug, she squirted this tiny shot of liquid up into the air...needless to say, I wish I had my camera up for a picture. I think that was to scare me off from, what I read. 
I did find this funny video that I'm attaching while looking on YouTube...."yah damn right". Ha

rizzling all morning and sooooo peaceful. 
There was about ten seconds of color when the sun started to rise above the skyline before it slipped up under the clouds. :)

Although I was taking landscape photos at the time, I couldn't resist including this family in an image. A beautiful setting with lots of, but not too much, activity. :)

Not a perfect quality portrait because of exposure and a lot of cropping....but I wanted to see his cute face!
