Went to Derby Lane today for the first time to witness how crazy fast the greyhounds are, become a little better educated about their past, and fall in love a few dozen times.
I didn't have a pass to use my camera so pretend these are good quality....Haha
This is not a discussion on racing. I don't know if anyone cares more about these dogs than this trainer does.

Going into the Dive Bar last night for a birthday party.
How does one lose one's shoe while it's still daylight?
Oh...tequila.
Tequila is often the answer to lost clothing. (Blech)
Bring the Ibuprofen over please.
Good Morning
Have a great day everyone! :)

Star
We're saying goodbye to Star today as she goes on to her new life of retirement. She's going to Hardee for her greyhound training for a few weeks and then to a wonderful and excited family in West Virginia. This is the hard part!
❤😭

I currently have my parents old photo albums. That's dad, Sabrina, and me. :)

Star loooved the pier this morning.
She only wanted to know why we couldn't come here every morning.

Gone 4 Ever
Any more of these snapshots would have depleted your superpower
To have become very good at trapping sadness
To change what you're thinking about in a moment so it doesn't strangle your being
You can't be suffocated now
There isn't enough time left to breathe
This strength won't last forever
But maybe until you can't remember
games
Star and I like to play the Race the Sidewalk Sprinkler game. :) ❤
Have a good day peeps!

Invictus
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
