Happy Easter from Wilbur and Elliott! They chose these silly frames. I had nothing to do with it.

Sigh….
Today my mom picked grass out of my lips and a giant dingleberry off of my butt. She tried to stop me from eating a stick that I was sure was a dried worm but she wasn't fast enough. My mom loves me.....sigh
Sweet Dreams
Yes, I tuck my dogs in at night under their little prison blankets. So what? Aren't they cute? ❤🐾
🥰
Hi, my name is Wilbur. I love laying around as much as I love walks. On walks I like to pee in people's driveways. I also loooove to meet every human and every dog I see even if they are a mile down the road. My parents tell me I'm their favorite.
Hi, my name is Elliott. I love laying around as much as I love walks. On walks I like to sneak a step behind my mom and eat dead sidewalk worms even though my mom says I can't. I also think all of the stone lawn sculptures I see are living (rabbits, dogs, birds, etc.) and have to stop and stare at them until my mom makes me start walking again. My parents tell me I'm their favorite.
Art Helps
I love the neighborhood chalk art by the kids at home in our neighborhood. :)

Elliott and Wilbur are helping me make our St. Patrick's Day dinner. We're a little late but no one is keeping score. ❤🐾

I'm terrible at selfies. But when Wilbur trapped me yesterday by pinning me down by laying on my hair I had to try again. ❤🐾

Greyhound Racing
My post today…things are getting more hectic. And it's affected everyone.
Hello everyone! Some of the tracks and kennels that were due to close throughout the year are closed now due to the Coronavirus. We are still learning which will reopen, which will downsize, and which will not reopen at all. We will likely have a much larger number of greyhounds needing foster homes and furever homes. The dogs need supplies, medical care, and transport. However you can help is greatly appreciated. If you're stuck at home, helping these dogs is a greyt way to spend your time. They are sweet, funny, and beautiful and need places to acclimate to a home life. Please visit our website at https://www.gulfcoastgreyhoundadoption.org to donate or to fill out an application to foster and/or adopt. Please contact us at gcgagulfcoast@gmail.com if you have any questions. We are going to do our best to communicate with you as we learn the details of closings. We are unable to have our typical meet and greets right now so please feel free to ask us questions. You can learn a lot about the breed online that we would usually be able to tell you in person. Please help where you can. And please, please share this post so we can spread the word. ♥️🐾
Scared
So if you look at my personal Facebook page, I try to share silly memes. I take pictures every day, even if they’re only with my poor quality phone. So I share waaaaay too many cute greyhound pictures since that’s my life right now.
But oh, the anxiety of this Coronavirus is smothering me. I could let my anxiety show in my work. Or I could share pretty pictures to calm people. And I really dont know what’s best right now. I’m not saying I have a big influence on anyone else, but we do have an effect on everyone we encounter, good or bad.
The first was an older peaceful picture I posted a couple of days ago when a friend on an artist page asked for serene abstracts.
The next one is more representative of how I’m feeling right now. Unsure, worried….so worried about the health and finances of family and friends. I’ve broken down more than once. And it’s just beginning. As of today we have 520 cases of COVID-19 here in Florida and the numbers are rapidly rising. Help us to make the right choices, be able to help those in need, and find peace while we're doing it.
Relaxing is exhausting.
I showed this picture to Wilbur. He says...."I like cow, too".
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! 💚 This year is going to be lame but we'll make up for it next year! Sláinte mhaith!
😓
It's officially too hot to go outside while the sun is up.
