Hello friends. It’s been a long time. I hope you’ve stayed in touch through my Facebook or Instagram page.
We’ve been through three holidays and are still here, surviving the pandemic. I hope that while you read this, your family is doing well. I’ve known many families that have had the illness spread through all of the members. Most are fine. A few have not faired so well.
I’ll share a group of images here of our greyhound exploits. They continue to hold most of my attention. The racing ended in Florida at the end of December and most of the fostering is over with. I’m really hoping to be able to get back into my photography now. Although I still post almost all of the social media for the adoption group (Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions), I think my time should start to balance out finally. (Not that the last couple of years haven’t been very fulfilling!) Snapshots include our boys Elliott and Wilbur, as well as fosters Scuttle, Dancin Kari, and moments with Shots Fired and Dancin Doocy.
Our photography group (Tampa Bay Society of Photographic Artists) is trying to power up again, too. We’re having our monthly meetings by Zoom and will be doing artist calls for online exhibits starting immediately. They have a gallery opening up in Tampa, as well…which is exciting. I’ve been added to as a board member for the group. Although I’m not sure what I have to offer. Time will tell I suppose.
I’m happy to be back!
