Emotions Revealed

March 18, 2018

Emotions Revealed was a two month digital art show at Franklin Clark, Inc. in downtown Safety Harbor created by Galleries on the Go. We had two receptions during the Third Friday celebrations. Artists included Scott Menual, Dakota Maphis, Katherine Campbell, and I.

In This Moment
An image taken on a very foggy morning while I was on a photo outing on my bicycle. I was taken aback at the beauty, as fog and mist always effect me.

Near to Spring
I titled this Near to Spring because it made me think of the new season approaching. I was looking forward to the new flowers blooming and everything being born again. I’m sure this was also influenced by a poem, although I cannot recall which one.

Indulge
When I originally edited this picture I called it “Life”, referring to this roller coaster of life. I’m trying to expand on that by giving the message to indulge on this life you have.

 Protectorate
A macro image taken in the early morning of dew around a mushroom.
I felt like the mushroom was protecting the drops of dew, as the water kept the mushroom alive.

 Affliction
This image was created while my mom was deteriorating from Dementia.
As death is a part of life, this was a very sad event to witness. Parts of her memory gone forever as the bits of leaf eaten away.
